If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that you purchased with us, from this Website (accessible from www.chthonic.shop)

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.

  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

  • Service refers to the Website.

  • Website refers to Chthonic.shop, accessible from www.chthonic.shop

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Returns 

A majority of Goods available for purchase on Our Website are made to order for You, therefore, We do not offer returns, unless it is otherwise specified under a Goods product description or specific Goods product page on Our Website, that returns are accepted for that Good. Please note, this is where You will also find any additional conditions of the return, if returns are accepted for that specific Good (e.g Return for Store credit is specified on the Goods product page/description) 

We offer exchanges for some Goods that are available in multiple sizes, provided that the size You request to exchange to is in stock, and  the Goods product description and/or product page on Our Website for that specific Good, specifies that exchanges are allowed. (e.g most belts are eligible for exchange, provided that the requested size is in stock.) 

Any pre-order Goods or Goods with the phrases “Made to Order” or “Handcrafted to Order” or the word “Handcrafted”  in the Goods product description, or product page, are final sale and cannot be returned.

 Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

We have a 14-day return/exchange policy, for items (Goods) that are eligible for returns or exchanges. Which means You have 14 days after receiving Your item to request a return or exchange. To be eligible for a return or exchange, Your item must also be in the same condition that You received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If Your return is accepted, We’ll send You a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send Your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted or refunded. 

All returns are subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the item's (Goods) original cost, and partial or full return shipping cost depending on the region or circumstance of the return. Within the continental United States, return shipping is usually at no cost to the buyer (You). However, the Buyer (You) is ultimately responsible for any return shipping charges.

Refunds

Damages and issues
Please inspect Your Order upon reception and contact Us immediately if Your items are defective, damaged or if You receive the wrong item, so that We can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, You have the right to cancel or return Your Order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify You once We’ve received and inspected Your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, You’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for Your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

International Shipping notice:

Customs fees and tax, Duties, VAT tax, Shipping Carrier Brokerage Fees, and Shipping Carrier Storage Fees

Buyers (You) are responsible for the customs fees, duties, and tax (VAT) charge in their country. There will be no refund, replacement, or store credit, if Your package is sent back without tax, duty, or any other fee charges paid in Your country or paid online (i.e the UPS/DHl website) or if the package is destroyed or held by customs.  

Buyers (You) are responsible for any shipping carrier brokerage fees or storage fees charged by the carrier company (i.e UPS Brokerage Fees).

 

ORDERS BEING SHIPPED TO SOUTH KOREA: PERSONAL CUSTOMS CODE

Buyers (You) located in (or with an Order shipping address in) South Korea are responsible for entering their Personal Customs Code at checkout, when placing their Order. If for any reason You forgot to enter this code, or  You believe it is incorrect, please contact Us. Orders without this code may be delayed, returned to Us by customs, or destroyed by Customs. There will be no refund, replacement, or store credit, if Your package is returned to Us by customs, or destroyed by Customs.
